Bridal Jewelry
While every bride wants to be adorned with diamonds on her wedding day, it is not always practical, or within the wedding budget. For this reason, bridal jewelry is often designed to mimic the look and sparkle of diamonds, but do so without the expensive price tag.
Cubic zirconia is a commonly used stone in bridal jewelry. These stones are usually cut from crystals that have been grown in a laboratory, so they are much less expensive than real diamonds. However, these stones are very hard to distinguish from diamonds, especially to the untrained eye.
Faux pearls are also a common material used in bridal jewelry. These artificially made pearls are very hard to tell from the real thing, but cost a fraction of what real pearls would cost. Freshwater pearls are also commonly used because they tend to be the less expensive of the real pearl varieties.
